1. Who we are
Seaford Lodge Apartments is operated by Seaford Lodge Limited (company number 04460166), whose registered office is 28 Clifton Road, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, BS23 1BL. Seaford Lodge Limited is the data controller for personal information handled directly by the business.
2. Information we may handle
This website is primarily informational. It has no contact form and does not take payments. We may nevertheless receive personal information when you:
- telephone or email us with an enquiry;
- make, change or discuss a booking;
- correspond with us about your stay, a request or a complaint; or
- leave a review or otherwise communicate with us.
Depending on the reason for contact, this may include your name, contact details, booking and accommodation information, correspondence, payment status and any information you choose to provide. Please avoid sending sensitive information unless it is necessary.
3. Bookings and payments
Availability, reservations and secure payments are handled through Eviivo or another booking partner rather than this website. When you follow a booking link, that provider may collect information such as guest details, stay dates, billing information and payment details under its own privacy notice.
Seaford Lodge may receive the booking information needed to provide your accommodation, manage the reservation, communicate with you and meet legal or accounting duties. Seaford Lodge does not receive or store your full card number through this website.
4. Why we use information
We use personal information only where there is a lawful reason, including to:
- answer enquiries and take steps requested before a booking;
- perform and manage an accommodation contract;
- provide guest support and maintain business records;
- protect guests, the property and our systems;
- meet legal, tax, accounting or regulatory obligations; and
- pursue legitimate business interests where these do not override your rights.
7. How long information is kept
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to manage the guest relationship, resolve disputes and meet legal, tax, accounting or regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of record.
8. Security
Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please take care when choosing what to send by email.
9. Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase your information; restrict or object to its use; receive certain information in a portable format; or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.
To make a request, email seafordlodge@btinternet.com or write to Seaford Lodge Limited at the address above. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
10. Questions and complaints
Please contact Seaford Lodge first so that we can try to resolve any concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Visit ico.org.uk for current guidance.
11. External services
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites reached through external links. Please review the relevant provider's notice, including Eviivo's privacy policy, before supplying personal information.
12. Changes to this notice
We may update this page when the website, booking arrangements or legal requirements change. The latest revision date will always appear at the top of the page.
